The mission of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at Frontier Nursing University is to enhance student learning by using a variety of innovative strategies and sound teaching methods. The CITL supports excellence in teaching and learning methods to enhance engagement, active learning, and evaluation of learning remotely. The CITL provides leadership and expertise for faculty development and support to ensure Frontier Nursing University is able to educate all students, including rural and underserved students, using sound pedagogy and best practice. The CITL envisions faculty, staff, and students all working collaboratively to create environments in which all students learn.
